Dr. Valerie Laniosz, MD, PhD, is a native of Orland Park and obtained her B.S. from Wheaton College and her MD/Ph.D. from Rosalind Franklin University School of Medicine. Following this, she completed an internal medicine internship at Loyola University Medical Center and a Mayo Clinic dermatology residency where she was involved in translational research. She has been in full time private practice since 2016 and we are excited to have her join us here at Dermatology Associates in November 2025.
Dr. Laniosz is board certified in dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and skin types and has experience in general dermatology, cosmetics, and dermatologic surgery. She has a passion for complex medical dermatology, women’s health, and patient education.
When not working, you can find Dr. Laniosz running with her twin sister regardless of weather or watching her kids at hockey or cheer. She loves Mexican food and Starbucks almost as much as doing skin checks. She has yet to win a fantasy football title but blames this mostly on luck.
